One person. A very long list.
Today, Sadikh Sadakkath keeps Saudi construction projects running as a Document Controller — Aconex-certified at every level, fluent in EDMS, ISO 9001 and the full paper trail of an EPC project. But he rarely stops at document control: technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, timeline schedules, method statements, presentations and minutes of meetings roll off his desk like they're nothing. Across fifteen years in the Gulf and Kerala, that habit of doing whatever the project needs is exactly why colleagues started calling him the Jinn.
It started with numbers. Trained as a commerce graduate and accountant, he could balance any book — journals, reconciliations, VAT returns on ZATCA, inventory and costing, payroll for a hundred-plus staff, end-of-service settlements to the last riyal. But he never stayed in one lane. A printing firm needed design, so he taught himself. A computer centre needed IT, so he learned to build machines, wire networks, set up CCTV and fix software until the vendors stopped getting calls. When his own accounting software broke, he reverse-engineered the fixes, ended up training every new hire — and was even offered a job by the software company itself.
Then came his most demanding role: running an entire China-sourcing operation, solo. He found the products, negotiated with suppliers, worked out the costing and pricing, built the inventory, and pushed shipments through SABER/SASO certification, customs and testing labs — coordinating suppliers in China, shipping agents in two countries and the marketing team at home, all at once. Whenever a client wanted a product that was patent-protected, he would routinely redesign it in 2D and 3D, adapt it just enough, and source a clean version from China. On the side he designed the posters, ran the social media pages and built the credit-recovery reports management lived by.
And the Jinn never stopped moonlighting. He still handles SABER, Fahas and SASO for clients, develops full apps and prototypes, models homes and interiors, builds Excel dashboards, writes ATS-beating resumes, designs websites, and wrote a book. Somewhere in there, he even designed the logos for his daughter's resin-art studio and his own resume brand. Five languages, three ERP systems, one very long list of things he can do.
